By Road
From Dublin: Take the M7 (Cork/Limerick) from Dublin. At junction 9 join the M9 (Carlow/Kilkenny/Waterford). Travel via Carlow and Paulstown to Kilkenny.

From Cork: Take the N8 to Mitchelstown. Follow signs to Cahir. From Cahir, take the N24 to Clonmel. Travel by the Clonmel bypass, following signs for Waterford, then turn left onto the N76 to Kilkenny (via Callan).
Approx 90 miles
From Galway: Take the N6 (Dublin) from Galway. After Portumna Bear left onto the R489 then the N52 (Birr). In Birr, turn right onto the N62 (Roscrea). After Roscrea, turn left at the roundabout onto the N7/M7 (Dublin). Take the motorway exit onto the N8 (Cork/Tullamore/Port Laiose). Travel via Abbeyleix and at Durrow turn left onto the N77. Travel via Ballyraggett to Kilkenny.

From Waterford: From Waterford take the N9 to Ballyhale. Join the N10 and travel via Knocktopher and Sandyford to Kilkenny.
