About Kilkenny College of Beauty Therapy
Kilkenny College of Beauty Therapy first opened its doors in 1986 and is the longest established Beauty Therapy school in the South-East of Ireland. From the beginning our students have achieved high rates of success in examinations - 100% pass rates are not unusual with a high proportion of students each year achieving top grades.
Hundreds of former students have gone on to start thriving businesses or forge successful careers, both in Ireland and abroad.

The College is accredited by ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO and equipped to the highest standards. We offer all of our students every assistance in gaining employment on completion of their studies with us.
College Principal: Susan Kennedy
Susan Kennedy is a qualified Beauty Therapist and in addition to the CIDESCO, CIBTAC and ITEC diplomas has many post-graduate qualifications including a teaching diploma and specialist qualifications in electro-cosmetology. She is a long standing member of the Irish Beauty Professionals Association.
Since 1998 she has been an International examiner for CIDESCO, the prestigious International Beauty Therapy association, and has examined in colleges in England, South Africa, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
With more than 20 years experience of beauty therapy education, she has a deep understanding of how to prepare students not just for examination success but for success in their future careers. Under Susan's expert guidance the college continues to develop its range of courses to meet the huge demand for graduates with the range of skills required by the rapidly expanding beauty, spa and complementary health sectors.
Course Tutors
All course tutors hold diplomas from CIBTAC, ITEC and CIDESCO.
Tutors work as a team under the direct guidance of the principal and are dedicated to ensuring that their students enjoy their time in the college while receiving the highest possible standard of training.
